What happened
CMA CGM agreed to acquire FedEx Supply Chain for an enterprise value of $1.4 billion. The companies said the transaction would expand CEVA Logistics' North American contract-logistics footprint.
The deal was announced July 1 and was expected to close later in 2026, subject to regulatory approvals and customary conditions. It should not be described as completed until the companies confirm closing.
What is included
FedEx Supply Chain provides warehousing, order fulfillment, and returns services. The parties also described planned multiyear air- and ocean-freight commercial arrangements to be implemented in phases.
The transaction is separate from the already completed FedEx Freight spinoff and does not mean all FedEx ground or freight operations are being sold.
